This set of tooling is used for trimming flash from stators after injection molding in the BMC injection molding workshop of a motor manufacturing company. Due to the manufacturing process and machining precision of the injection molds, as well as the effects of the injection molding process, varying degrees of flash can occur on BMC encapsulated stators during injection molding. The BMC flash can affect subsequent assembly processes and produce foreign objects that impact motor quality, thus requiring removal.
