Pedestrian Turnstile Gate, featuring the traditional three rotating bars, allows one person to pass through per card swipe. The overall dimensions are 500mm in length, 350mm in width, and 835mm in height. The earliest application of turnstiles in China dates back to the 1980s and was used in subway projects. As a major component of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system, the turnstile serves as an automatic ticket-checking machine, which is the earliest and most widespread understanding of turnstiles among Chinese people. It wasn't until the late 1990s that turnstiles began to appear in common civilian and commercial settings, including office buildings, shopping malls, supermarkets, tourist attractions, and even high-end residential areas. It is important to note that turnstiles and ticket machines are not entirely the same concept. Ticket machines include both automatic ticket-checking machines and portable ticket-checking machines, with the former being a specific application of turnstiles combined with a ticketing system. The scope of turnstiles is broader, as any equipment used to manage the flow of people in and out, capable of allowing only one person to pass at a time, can be considered a turnstile in a broad sense.
