Injection molds are tools used to produce plastic products, providing them with a complete structure and precise dimensions. Injection molding is a processing method used for the mass production of certain complex-shaped components. Specifically, it involves injecting thermally melted plastic into a mold cavity under high pressure using an injection machine, and after cooling and solidification, a formed product is obtained. Injection molds are categorized into two types according to molding characteristics: thermosetting plastic molds and thermoplastic plastic molds. Based on the molding process, they can be divided into transfer molding dies, blow molding dies, casting molds, thermoforming molds, compression molding dies (compression molds), and injection molds. Among them, compression molds can be further divided into three types based on the overflow method: overflow type, semi-overflow type, and non-overflow type. Injection molds can also be divided into two types based on the gating system: cold runner molds and hot runner molds. Furthermore, based on the installation and removal method, they can be classified into mobile type and fixed type.
